I Claudius From the Autobiography of Tiberius Claudius Born 10 BC Murdered and Deified AD 54 (Vintage International) Read & Download ↠ 104 I, Claudius From the Autobiography of Tiberius Claudius Born 10 B, C, Murdered and Deified A, D, 54 , Vintage InternationalI have read this book several times over the years both in Spanish and English The historical accuracy is secondary because this is a work of fiction although Graves used all the existing sources especially Suetonius The appeal of this book and the second part Claudius the god and his wife Messalina his how Graves uses existing and not entirely reliable forces to write a plausible history of Claudius It's very clear that Graves has a lot of sympathy for Claudius The real life Claudius may or may not have been as great a ruler as Graves would like us to believe but he was certainly better than his predecessor Caligula and his successor Nero Graves was a superb writer Regardless of the uality of the sources this book is worth reading many times I did and will continue to due in the future Highly recommended
