It certainly seems that way But I wouldn't say this book smacks of Downtonit was around well before and is so so much betterI love the characters in this series From the Grevilles to Fenton to Martin to Rossevery character is incredibly well written and so developed Their stories are so beautifully interwoven and each character captures my attention As much as Fenton is still my favorite character I have to say Martin grew on me even during this seuel and Charles put himself firmly into my heart His story of recovery is remarkable and made his parents soften in their Victorian ways which was an in
